5 words meme by mudcub |

Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!", and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your journal, and explain what they mean to you.
Words chosen by jawoodward, and boy did she pick some doozies.
Breasts - Well, yes. My breasts are kind of a 'stand out' feature. I half loathe half love my boobs. On one hand, they are perfectly proportionate to the rest of my body. To be as large as they are, they still don't look freakishly huge on my frame. And, it's really easy to redirect the eye to my chest and away from my 'problem areas' with just a low cut neckline. The bad is the size itself. At 42H, I'm just outside the clothing industry's ability to keep up. Of the options available at my size, the great majority of bras are little more than sports bras, or cover so fully that I feel like a grandmother and can't wear normal tee shirts without the bra peeking over the neck. I've been searching for a strapless or plunging bra for those low necklines, but I'm pretty certain they don't exist. So, custom made is my only option. And that's annoying.
Companion - Someone close. Someone you like having around and enjoy being with. A companion is a person(or animal ^_^) that you jive with and some things just mesh together well. Personally, I thrive on this kind of relationship... where I feel that someone just gets me... or at least is willing to just raise an eyebrow at the parts they don't get. :) It's relaxing and doesn't have a lot of the social pressure of other relations.
Witch - Wow, this one is so broad for me. First to mind comes the modern version of a witch with altar and candles and through that, my Crone Sharia. But quickly following that is the classic Halloween witch with pointy hat and black cat familiar. I've been a witch in one form or another more halloweens than I can remember. And, in a way, I've kind of cultivated a 'gypsy witch' image at faire. I've always been fascinated with the concepts of witches. I guess it is a little odd, but 'witch' doesn't have a negative feel to me.
Dragon*Con - To be the geek I am and have lived in Atlanta my whole life, I've only been to D*C one time. Many years, it was a choice between AWA and D*C, since they're so close(and me so broke), and I've been doing AWA since high school. I'm actually really hoping I can go again this year. The one year I went the only things I did were the cam games and a pass through the dealer's room. I didn't do anything else. My time was kind of monopolized by my company. From the stories I've heard, I want to roam out over the con a little more.
Jackie - *deep breath* I'm glad she listed this one last. Jackie is the woman who raised me. Biologically, she's my grandmother on my father's side. And... she's crazy. When I was young, she mothered like she ran things at the bank... strict and controlling. I truly believe she thought she was doing what was best for me. But... that emotional part of mothering was missing. I know she loves me, I'm her grandchild, but she cared for me more like a ward than a child. She provided every item I needed, she kept me in sports and activities, and I rarely went without. But she never hid the fact that I was a burden and tainted by my birth mother's blood. As we both aged, she began declining mentally. Everyone assumed I was being an angsty teenager. After I moved out and she no longer focused on me, they could see it. Now... she's managed to ostracize most of the family, and become a woman I never knew. I know that there is something medically wrong with her that is causing all these odd personality changes... but... I don't really feel anything about it. If she's sick, she's a kinder woman now... she even owns a cat... she's hated animals since I've known her. Is the crazy, cat-loving woman really worse than the Jackie I grew up with?

My first day back in the water...
Not nearly long enough for a fish like me, but it(and the company) is good for my soul...
...and I need a little soul strengthening right now.
I finally relaxed enough to surrender and drift on my back... it was like a little flutter of heaven in my chest...

Wow, it's the first day in a while I've woken up before 7pm and had to rush out the door to work.
o.o
It's disorienting.
Still waiting on the account to clear up. I got a transfer fee refunded, which is good. One of the 3 pending things has cleared, and brought a fee, there's another fee pending, and one more transaction pending besides the false one. Once those two clear/disappear, I can go on about getting all the fees removed.
I forgot about the little bit of overtime I had last week, so I'm not dead broke like I thought. But I'm still $400 shy of where I should be.
There's drama ensuing at work. I took a couple days off around Independence Day to line up with Pup's long weekend and go see Mare together(if she's okay with it). I did this last week, thinking it was almost too close to get any time off around a holiday. But I was happily surprised to find it approved! Yay! ^_^
Turns out another QA is talking about taking the same exact days off, but hasn't gotten it in the system or approved yet. I'm already approved, but I don't know if my boss will approve us both. If he does, there'll be drama. And honestly, I hope he doesn't after the fiasco of vacation overlap that was May.

Ok. Talked to the bank, and they will refund the fees... once everything resolves.
-.-'
So... this means that the $185 won't disappear for 3 days, so that's $80-120 in overdraft fees, plus the $100 or so they moved from savings already to cover the first overdraft....
What this means, ladies and gents, is that the paycheck that will hit in the wee hours of Wed morning will mysteriously vanish for a couple days. And I will be without funds of any kind until I can get the bank to put it all back. Which won't happen until it all disappears.
-.-' Pup is giving me lunch money so I don't have to bail on the 'welcome back' lunch I had planned with Kristy this week.
*faceplant*
Great. One company fucks up and I go from $140 extra to $400+ in the hole by the time it all settles in... NONE OF WHICH IS ANYTHING MORE THAN A DATA ENTRY ERROR!!! Some 'tard at the CT place fucked up a number, and now I have to pay for her lapse while she was goofing around.
-.- *grr*
It should all be resolved by the weekend. I just have to take granola bars and whatever else I can find in this house to work with me to eat.
;.; And I realized this morning I'm out of milk... I have cereal, but no milk. ;.;

Well... they canceled the charge.
Turns out they charged me for another woman's bill too. No covering the fees though.
Which is going to suck if that 'pending' transaction hangs out for the whole 3 days. It'll total up to $130 if it does. If it vanishes today, I'm only out $10.
Either way, I won't know until the bank posts for the day... so I guess I can try to get some sleep.
A nice thing? The cardinals, finches, and upside-down bird(???) have a new partner on my balcony. The GIANT brown squirrel has taken to cleaning the spillage from the feeder off the concrete balcony floor. Yay! Nature's cleaning crew.
The feeders are great for finches and small birds, but the others have a tougher time at it. I think I'll get a bigger one when I can. Until then, I got out those old wooden bowls of mine and put seed in it for both the cardinals and larger birds that eat off the floor and the squirrels.
Hours of amusement with just some cheap seed.

I hate doctors' offices and the BS I have dealt with every-single-time I've been to one.
And you wonder why I over-the-counter for everything and loathe the idea of yearly exams. I don't exist on a 9-5 schedule. If I could get BC without a prescription I would be all over that.

Congratulations! You have won the web contest for a 4 pack of Renaissance Festival Tickets. Now open on weekends until June 7th.
This is why I let my spam filter have a hayday and throw my name in so many contests. The law of averages says that I have to win sometime.
What a one to win!
I won't be able to get them before Monday, so they'll be used the 30th/31st or the 6th/7th.
*dance*

Well, there goes that plan.
I was gonna get up and dye my hair today. But waking up at 5pm isn't enough time, imho.
So I'm contemplating working on reset stuff, since I only have 2 weeks to get it done. And I don't want to wait until the last moment for someone to be able to tell me "Oh, you did that wrong" right before a game or something when I can't fix it.
But there's drama surrounding that too right now. Yay dramah. *pulls out a shotgun and plays skeet shoot with the clay discs of dramah being hurled in my general direction*
Do what you actually want to do. It's not going to bother me either way.
I have a feeling most of my girls are going to stay pretty close to what they were. If I was able to keep the essence of Hides, who was hundreds of xp over her reset value, then the others should be fairly easy. It's just a matter of finding the time to do it when I don't think math will hurt my head. Technically, Sharia has more xp than Hides, but she hasn't had xp spent on her in almost 2 years.
This is the one time I can :P at people for asking me why I didn't spend my xp bank.

So much for being able to attend the reset parties. Both of them are being held on Sundays at 4 in the afternoon.
I might be able to go for a little while to the one tomorrow, but I'll have to leave and go straight to work. And knowing cam time, it'll be about an hour in to actual reset talk that I have to go.
Suck. I was looking forward to spending time hanging out and actually working on my reset character sheets too. Because excel and open office hate me.
*sigh*
And I can't keep skipping out on Sundays to do this stuff and cramming 40+ hours of work into 4 days. It'd be fine if I could rely on my coworkers to show up, but that's not the case. And anywhere during the week I can have another set of stores dumped on my head. I can clean 4 stores in one night, but damnit I hate doing it. Last week I did 48 hours of work and I'm only going to be getting paid for 40 of it, because even coming in early and leaving late, I still only had 4 work days.
*eye rub*
